I’ve been a good cowboy!

Brace yourself, this is going to be a short post.  Friends that are reading this, can stop laughing.  I can be brief if I am tired.  And I am.

But….  (the snorts of laughter can stop now!)

In all seriousness, I lost my fitness spreadsheet last week when it was time to do the “weekly stats” posts and had to retrieve it from my backup drive.  But life kinda got in the way so I never even noticed that I ….

<drum roll please>

I've met my first fitness goal. Click to enlarge.

Have met my first fitness goal!  I dropped below 280 lbs!  Yay Me!  Go Team Tony!

Cowboy Smiley (CC)Check out the cute smiley face with a cowboy hat that I found to put on the chart to show the goal has been accomplished!

And, while I was updating my chart page:

Charting My Progress

I noticed something that is really awesome.

All the numbers are going in the right direction, but the measurement chart that shows my “inches” from back in 2010 through now, really shows the complete story.  It shows how in 2010 I was on Jenny Craig, plateaued, then hit 2011, the year from hell and then at the end of last year, in December I found my mojo, and started taking small steps toward being healthy and fit again.  Check out the sharp downward turn from that point to now:

That is pretty damned impressive if I do say so myself.  And I do!  Yay me!  Go Team Tony!  Woo Hoo!

I think it is time for me to say:

I iz Awesome ©2011

And with that, I’m headed to bed.  To rest.  For tomorrow we get beZEE!!  Oh, I’m already busy! OK, keep on keepin on…

See ya on the dance floor!

  1. Great! Health and Fitness is indeed very essential! it’s easy to start a new and healthy way of living but must have the will and determination to maintain what you have started right? :)

    • Hi Kate! Thanks for the support. You are absolute correct. Getting started takes effort but sticking with it is where the real work kicks in. :-) See ya on the dance floor!
