Things I’m thankful for…

Wishing all of you a fantastic holiday!

I just wanted to send out a quick post and wish everyone following me on this blog or via Facebook or Twitter a wonderful Holiday.

I also wanted to briefly…

yes I can be brief when I try really really really hard

…with you a couple things for which I am thankful.  Sometimes when you are facing difficult times it is difficult to see the proverbial silver lining.

With that in mind here is my very short list, in no particular order

I am thankful..

• …that things are not worse than they are
• …that I have the most amazing best friend in the entire world who is a kind, wonderful, caring friend without whom I would be seriously up the proverbial creek and nose deep in the proverbial material of the aforementioned creek.
• …that I have a place to live
• …that while I have some health issues, none of them are life threatening and none of them are untreatable.

but most of all, I am thankful for “hope”  and “faith”

… hope that things will get better and

… faith that they will.

Wishing everyone the very best of holidays.  Have a slice of pumpkin pie for me.  With cool whip of course.  It isn’t pumpkin pie unless it has cool whip on top.  Yes, I just reveled my Southern Lower Middle Class roots.
