Tip No.1 — Park at the edge of the parking lot
One way to burn a few extra calories without a lot of extra effort is to park at the edge of the parking lot. Every parking lot. Every time. At work, when you go shopping, when you go to the movie, when stopping off at the corner convenience store. The extra few steps every time you get out of your car, will add up over time, burning calories, and providing fitness benefits.
Tip No. 2 — Rome wasn’t built in a day — Take it slow!
Make small changes, one at a time. Keep focused on the specific change until that “change” becomes a “habit”.

The Importance of Making Your Bed
One of the continuing themes that has developed in this blog is that switching from an “unhealthy” lifestyle to a “healthy” lifestyle is very very hard!
And what does “making your bed” have to do with “getting healthy?” Well to most people there may not be a connection, but for me there is.
