Learn the “Tush Push” Line Dance!!!

Here is your chance to learn the “Tush Push” during “Oldie But Goodie” Week!

Line Dancers in the Plaza-opacity 03-RESIZEDOne of the things that has always frustrated me when learning line dances is the wide spread emphasis on “teach the new stuff and only the new stuff” — [sigh]

So…now that I’m teaching weekly classes, I wanted to make sure that I occasionally taught some of the old stuff:

— the dances that have stood the test of time
— the dances that have been around for ages
— the dances that all the experienced dancers seem to know and love but the newbies never have a chance to learn…because no one ever seems to teach them any more!!!

Arrrrgggggghhhhh!!! Grrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!!  *Grumble*Mumble*Grumble*

Well folks I’m going to do my tiny bit to try and remedy that!!!!!!

So…in every month that has five weeks, I will teach a “Line Dance Classic” during the fifth week.

And if any dance qualifies as a “Line Dance Classic” or an “Oldie but Goodie” then it is the TUSH PUSH!!!!

On Tue the 29th and Wed the 30th,
I will teach the Tush Push in my classes!

Tush Push / choreographed by Jim Ferrazzano
40 count / 4 wall /  Improver level

The Tush Push is danced to all kinds of music: both Country and Non-Country!

Music:  well do you have about two hours for me to list them all?  There are literally hundreds if not thousands of songs to which you can Push your Tush!  Here are my two favorites, one slow and one fast:

Ronnie Milsap Heart and soul
Song: Earthquake / by Ronnie Milsap (125 BPM)

from the Album:
Heart and Soul

.

Song: Total Eclipse of the HeartTotal Eclipse of the Heart Bonnie Tyler

(Radio Edit Remix)
sung by Bonnie Tyler – Remix by Jan Wayne & Lena
(148 BPM)

..

Here are some articles that I have here on my blog about the Tush Push.  Enjoy!

    • How sweet! 🙂 Maybe we’ll met at UCDWC Worlds or perhaps next year in 2017. If everything goes as I hope, I plan on spending 3 months in Europe using EURail and BritRail to backpack around Europe, seeing the sights, visiting dance friends and going to as many dance events as possible.
