Wow, what a fun month it has been!  And it isn’t over yet!!!  Woot!  We have one more night left in August: Tue, Aug 30th at 6pm at DanceMakers of Texas

Sooooo….we’ll review the three UCWDC Competition Line Dances we’ve learned.  Woo Hoo!!!

For those students who are new this month to the class, a “review” night is where we briefly go over each dance.

We have three dances… and 50 minutes… so that works out to … [uhmmmm….calculating…doing hard math…. LOL] about 15 minutes per dance.  So be sure to check out these videos and links:

About these three dances…

Line Dancers in the Plaza-opacity 03-RESIZEDThese three dances are the UCWDC Newcomer Level competition dances for 2016-2017.

There are not one, but two UCWDC events held here in the Dallas/Fort Worth area where, if you choose, you could compete, using these dances:

Also, two of the three dances use music which “Couples Dancers” will recognize:

  • Cha-Cha
  • Night Club Two-Step

The line dances incorporate basic footwork from those two styles thus these dances are an EXCELLENT PRACTICE DRILL for Couples Dancers who wish to have a way to practice fundamentals on their own.

Line Dance Class – When & Where:

  • — 6201 Sunset Drive, Suite 630 Fort Worth, TX 76116 [Get Directions]
