2011-12-16-Ticker ©20112011-12-15 Table ©2011Ok, this past week marks the end of a renewed effort to become fit.  I have been more aware of what I’ve been eating and making better choices.  I’m at the beginning of a very long road.  Wish me success! 🙂

So far… so good. Yay me!  See ya on the dance floor!

  1. Hey man, I’m right there with you. You can do it! Lots of focus and determination, and your health will thank you for it!

  2. I have started only a few weeks ago and I am doing alright. Congrats on starting the journey, looks like you already lost a few pounds, good job!

  3. I’m with you Tony. According to my BMI, I’m obese. COurse, they don’t factor bone size, etc. but I do know that I am at least 50# over what i was when i met Gene – so, I am joining you in this adventure. Thanks for the inspiration!

    • Hi Cherie! BMI was never intended to be applied on an individual level (watch for an upcoming post on this topic). It is actually a measure that is best applied to large populations. While it works ok for the mid-ranges, at the top end (large framed folks) and the bottom end of the scale (Athletes), it is not accurate. Glad you’re enjoying the Blog! *hugs*
