New Jenny Craig Tips and Tricks

Jenny Craig LogoOk, here’s a couple more tips and tricks that have helped me so far.

You can see all my “Jenny Craig Tips and Tricks” either by clicking on it in the “Diet & Fitness Drama” menu up above or by clicking this link:  “Jenny Craig Tips and Tricks Archive”

The Jenny Craig entrées are designed to be easily and quickly microwaved, part of the reason that I like the program so much.  But, being a single guy who does not like to cook or keep any cooking related information in his brain, I can NEVER remember how long a certain entrée needs to be stuck in the nuker before it is ready to eat.

So, I have to read the box.  Which, sadly, is a problem for guys like me who are now in their mid mumblemumble and fast approaching mumble.   😉

2012-01-05, Week 3, Weekly Progress Photos

Progress Photos 2012-01-05 ©2012Yee Haw!  As you can see in the photo, this week’s hat is a Cowboy Hat in honor of my recent trip to the UCWDC Country Dance World Championships.

Each week I’ll wear a different hat just to keep it interesting and so that the photos don’t look too much alike.   I have quite a few hats so it should be a while before I repeat.  [grin].  Oh my!  This could be FUN!

2012-01-05, Weekly Stats — Week 3

2012-01-05-Ticker ©20122012-01-05-Table ©2012The main thing this week was that I had a trip out of town to go to the UCWDC World Championships (Worlds XX)  Because of that, I was not able to follow the Jenny Menu for the whole week.  I tried to make sure I chose the healthiest choices when eating at the event, but, I pretty much didn’t worry about not drinking Diet Coke.

All in all the numbers are not that bad.  Weight is headed down.  Inches are headed down.  Body Fat is headed slightly up / staying level.  But as soon as I kick in the exercise component, which starts this week, then the body fat numbers will drop as well.

All in all, we’ll chalk this one up as a “win”.

See ya on the dance floor!

Stretching by Bob Anderson << HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!! 🙂

Note from lil ole me: If you can afford to buy only one book, then buy this one.  If you can’t afford to buy it then get it through a library.   I used this book so much that I wore out my first copy and had to buy a replacement.   No matter what sport you do, there are stretches for it in this book. There are also general purpose stretches included as well. And it starts from a zero knowledge base which means they explain everything in simple terms. VERY WELL DONE! 🙂

streching coverDescription from Amazon.com: ISBN-10: 0936070463 This is the book that people tell their friends about, that trainers suggest for virtually every sport and activity, and that medical professionals recommend to people just starting to get back in shape. Stretching first appeared in 1980 as a new generation of Americans became committed to running, cycling, aerobic training, and workouts in the gym — all of which are commonplace now.

My apologies to my followers… …Maxima Mea Culpa!

Twice  < scratch that…  *sigh*

Not once, not twice, but THREE times over the past few days I’ve clicked on the wrong button and sent out drafts that were not ready to be published.

My most sincere apologies for cluttering your in-boxes.  I do wish WordPress had a way to retract those posts.  *SIGH*

Of course, in both cases *sigh* all THREE cases, I realized my mistake as soon as I clicked the BIG HUGE HONKIN’ BLUE button!  The button which clearly says “Publish”  Not “Save as draft” *sigh*

Note to self — look at the online help pages to see if there is a setting that I can change that makes me click “PUBLISH” twice before it is actually shipped out to all of you.

UPDATE: I’m still looking.  Haven’t found it yet, but I’m looking.  When I find it I will share the info.

Again, my apologies. I’m still new at this whole blogging thing.  <insert image of me begging and grovelling and pleading for forgiveness>
